MEJP South Portland Listening Session

Registration is closed for this event
Help Maine Equal Justice Partners set our legislative agenda for 2017! We want to hear from service providers about priorities in the lives of your clients. Tell us what they need in the areas of food, health care, income support, and housing.

MEJP will hold two listening sessions - one in Bangor and one in Portland. We want to hear from service providers (social workers, case managers, home visitors, advocates, etc.) about the difficulties faced by people with low income in Maine and what policy solutions would most help them.

The focus for the day will be on areas of basic need - food, health care, income support, and housing.

The day will be interactive with a focus on identifying legislative priorities, providing ways for service providers to incorporate advocacy into their work, and building connections between and among MEJP and providers.
